I emailed him back and forth. +30mm, 275 all around, never rub in the front but the rear under hard turning are the answers I got regarding the R34 wheels. Didn't get into much detail in the rubbing location tho.I can't tell you whether a tire on a wheel in specific size/spec rubs or not under some circustances. The same reading in tires, say 275/35/18, have variation in tread witdth*, overall width**, section width***, and section height****, etc from models. They are not all exactly the same in measurement. These measurements changed under load, inflation pressuer and cornering; hence they may lead to rub or no rub if there weren't much of clearance. There is math you can do with the specs of tire and wheel and suspension travelling disntance to factor out, but sometimes, you gotta try them to find out or ask for experience. Sorry that I can't be helpful in your case.... *tread width - The portion of the tread design which comes in contact with the road. **overall width - The max width in cross secton of unloaded tire including protruding side ribs. ***section width - Linear distance between the outside sidewalls of an inflated tire without any load, excluding protruding side ribs. ****section height - The distance from rim seat to outer tread surface of unloaded tire.
